Microsoft to expand Hyderabad campus
Hyderabad: In a bizarre move, Microsoft, on Monday, announced their plans to expand the city campus in Gachibowli by adding a 4th building.
Unlike previous announcement, it was Telangana IT minister K.T. Rama Rao, who announced the move, and not any Microsoft official that were present here to inaugurate the Microsoft Garage.
Later on, Microsoft’s Anil Bhansali, when pressed by the media, did confirm that the company has plans to build a fourth building inside the campus.
But Mr Bhansali refused to set a deadline or confirm the number of people that would be hired for the new building.
Meanwhile, the Garage provides the employees a platform to work on products and solutions based on new-age technologies. The company also confirmed that it will set up another Garage in Bengaluru later this year but declined to divulge more.
