Warner Bros. Discovery announces to set up IDC in Hyd after meeting KTR in US
Hyderabad: Warner Bros Discovery, the global media and entertainment giant, is all set to make its entry into media and entertainment space in Hyderabad. It has announced the setting up of the International Development Centre (IDC) here, that will create employment for 1,200 professionals.
IT minister K. T. Rama Rao, who is visiting the US to attract investments, met Alexandra Carter, senior vice-president, finance, at Warner Bros Discovery on Wednesday. The discussions highlighted the shared vision of both parties in driving growth and innovation in the media and entertainment industry, a statement said.

Warner Bros. Discovery's portfolio includes HBO, HBO Max, CNN, TLC, Discovery, Discovery Plus, WB, Eurosport, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, Cinemax, Pogo, Toon Cart, HGTV, and Quest. The company expects to tap into the immense of the Indian market and leverage the city's ecosystem for media and entertainment. The IDC will serve as a strategic hub for Warner Bros Discovery's operations in India.
