Trump's policies will make America great place to invest in: Mahindra

Mumbai: Mahindra and Mahindra group chairman Anand Mahindra on Friday said Donald Trump’s travel ban and harsh visa restrictions may offer good business opportunity for India Inc.

“Trump's policies will make America a great place to invest in,” Mandra told ET Now. H1-B visa issue is an opportunity to drive up offshoring, he added. According to him, India can fill gap in world leadership at present. “India can serve as bridge builder when nations are getting separated.”

Mahindra says he saw good opportunities for India in areas like climate change and country’s IT sector needed big ideas to reimagine itself. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was trying to change mindset of world powers toward India, a stalemate that held back country for long, he added.
