New Delhi: Liquor baron Vijay Mallya is believed to have left the country in spite of a look-out notice against him by the CBI.

Sources claimed the agency had taken all steps including issuance of look-out notices to all exit points to prevent any such move on part of Mr Mallya but he still managed to escape.
Sources said look-out notices are issued to alert immigration officials to prevent any person facing probe from leaving the country. Meanwhile, CBI is now preparing to send a judicial request to the UK to get details about certain transactions made by Kingfisher Airlines.
