Hyderabad: OnePlus set to have 50 offline stores in 3 years

He said that the three-year target is to have around 50 exclusive stores in the top 20 cities.

Hyderabad: In a big offline push, Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is set to increase its exclusive stores to 50 by the end of 2021, according to a top official. The company, which positions itself in the premium segment, expects that the offline expansion would help it achieve around 30 per cent of its total sales from offline channels.

Speaking to this newspaper, OnePlus India general manager Vikas Agarwal said, “One of the reasons why we are expanding offline is now people need to see what flagship experience means. We are noticing a strong traction for offline stores also. We have always been an online brand.”

He said that the three-year target is to have around 50 exclusive stores in the top 20 cities. Of which, only six would be large format stores. Rest would be small format stores. For tier II and tier III cities, it will continue to focus on online.
