Hyderabad: Microsoft Corp. chairman Satya Nadella on Monday visited his native city — Hyderabad — to interact with the employees of the company’s India Development Centre (IDC). “Mr Nadella is in India for two days. He had come to Hyderabad yesterday night. He interacted with employees in the morning and spoke about Microsoft and his personal journey in the company,” said a person who is a part of Mr Nadella’s official travel arrangements.
The Microsoft chairman has a public engagement in Delhi, where he would speak about his book ‘Hit Refresh’. “Mr Nadella’s engagements in Delhi include his meetings with customers and industry leaders, the government representatives and media,” a spokesperson said.
The English edition of ‘Hit Refresh – The Quest to Rediscover Microsoft’s Soul and Imagine a Better Future for Everyone’ was launched on September 26, and has been on bestseller lists since. The Tamil and Telugu editions, will be available in print in bookstores from November 7. The Hindi edition will be available by November end. The book is about individual change and the transformation that is happening in Microsoft and takes readers through Mr Nadella’s personal journey.
