Flipkart claims to have sold 2.25 million products in the first 12 hours of its sale.
India’s largest online retailer Flipkart has managed to earn Rs 1,400 crore on the second of its 5-day ‘Big Billion Day’ sale, which kicked off on October 2.
Flipkart claims to have sold 2.25 million products in the first 12 hours of its sale. On the contrary, Flipkart’s competitor Amazon India sold about 1.5 million products in the first 12 hours of its ‘Great Indian Festival’ sale, which began on October 1.
Industry sources estimate online retailers, including Snapdeal, Amazon India, and Flipkart will notch up around Rs 12,000 crore during this year’s festive season sale compared to Rs 7,000 crore they achieved last year.
