Hyderabad: Hyderabad has become Tesla's latest destination in India with the EV maker opening its fifth experience centre in the country at Knowledge City in Madhapur. It will offer visitors an introduction to Tesla's electric mobility ecosystem through guided walkarounds and interactive product demonstrations.

The newly launched 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive comes with seating for up to five passengers and offers up to 2,138 litres of storage space. The vehicle delivers a range of up to 500 km on the worldwide harmonised light vehicle test procedure (WLTP). It is priced at ₹50.89 lakh, with deliveries scheduled to begin in July, the company said.
Also on display is the Model Y L, a three-row, six-seat all-wheel-drive SUV positioned as a family-oriented offering. The vehicle provides a claimed range of up to 681 km and offers up to 2,539 litres of cargo space. The model is priced at ₹61.99 lakh.
Tesla said both vehicles have received top safety ratings from international safety assessment agencies, including NHTSA, IIHS, Euro NCAP, ANCAP and C-IASI.
Customers can place orders for both models through Tesla's official website. Buyers placing orders before June 30 will receive a complimentary wall connector for home charging.
The Hyderabad facility joins Tesla's existing experience centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram, the company said.
