Maruti Suzuki India on Thursday announced a hike in car prices across models, effective from February 1, 2025. The price increase ranges from Rs 1,500 to Rs 32,500.
The decision comes amid rising input costs and operational expenses, which the company says they are constrained to pass on to the market. The company is committed to optimising costs and reducing the impact on customers, Maruti said in information to the exchanges.
Here’s the model-wise price increase:
In December 2024, Maruti Suzuki sold 1,78,248 units, which includes 1,32,523 units sold in India, 37,419 units exported, and 8,306 units sold to OEMs. It saw a 30% increase from the previous year.
