Suzuki is aiming to launch the limited SP edition variants of the Gixxer
Suzuki Motorcycles is planning to introduce new limited edition variants of it’s the most applauded twins, Gixxer and Gixxer-SF in India. The new trims will be known as Gixxer SP trims but the company has not yet confirmed the official launching date of the two variants.
These trims will possess special matte Grey body colour along with checkered flag graphics on the front fender of the bikes. Moreover, the bikes will also get a special 'SP' insignia right around the Gixxer badge. The bikes will also receive a sportier look along with a dual tone Red-Black seats and a red reflector strip around the alloys wheels which will uplift the look of the bikes.
It is also true that very less mechanical changes are made to the bikes. Bothe the bikes own a 155cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which generates 14.6bhp and 14 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Moreover, the engine is also well equipped with Suzuki's Eco Performance technology that helps the bikes to get a mileage of over 50 km/l.
The company is also planning to offer some more additional equipment and benefits for these special SP Edition Gixxer models. From the posters, we can clearly see that the bikes will come with rear disc brakes.
In terms of pricing, we can say that the bikes will receive a hike of Rs.5000 to Rs. 10,000 over their base prices. The base price of Gixxer and Gixxer SF are Rs. 88,707 and Rs. 97,046 respectively.
