How does ABS braking work in cars, bikes

ABS braking system is safer than conventional braking systems used today.

Sudden braking—something you definitely would be aware of if you drive a car or ride a bike. When you have to slam on the brakes in an emergency, you tend to lose control of the vehicle, simply because the tyres skid on the road. In conventional braking systems (drum or disc), the tyres are locked and the friction of the rubber tyres on the road helps slow down the vehicle to a halt. However, this method has a higher chance of the tyres skidding if the road is dusty, dirty or filled with gravel. The result is devastating as the vehicle goes out of control and you could end up with losing your life. However, the advancement in the braking system has made progress and an ABS braking system has proved to be safer than ever before. So what is ABS braking system and how does it work to keep you safe? Check out the videos below which shows you how the ABS braking systems work in cars and bikes.
