2019 Tata Hexa launch prices start at Rs 12.57 lakh
The Hexa is Tata’s flagship car and is priced between Rs 12.57 lakh and Rs 18.16 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The Hexa is offered in seven variants: XE, XM, XMA, XM+, XT, XTA and XT 4x4.
The Hexa is offered with 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel, albeit in two different states of tune. The base XE variant is offered with 150PS of power and 320Nm of torque. All other variants after that are available with 156PS and 400Nm of torque on tap. The Hexa is offered with a six-speed manual transmission on all variants while the XM and XT variants are also available with a six-speed automatic transmission. The 4x4 option is only available on the top-spec XT variant. The Hexa has an ARAI-tested fuel efficiency figure of 17.6kmpl.
The Hexa is quite loaded when it comes to features. The SUV is available with drive modes, projector headlamps, automatic headlamps, LED DRLs, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, mood lighting and more.
On the safety front, the Hexa comes with six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with roll-over mitigation, Traction Control System, Hill Descent Control (HDC), Hill Hold Control (HHC) and ABS with EBD.
