Italian motorcycle manufacturer DSK Benelli has opened its second dealership in Pune. The city already houses the corporate headquarters and the very first showroom of the company. The newly opened showroom will be the company's nineteenth in the country. New showrooms in Worli (Mumbai) and Baroda are also slated to be inaugurated this week. Benelli plans to have 35 dealerships across the country by the end of 2016.
Part of DSK Benelli’s sales success is on the fact that they have quite a presence with the 250-300cc premium bike segment with the TNT 25 and TNT 300 that have been their best-selling models. The Tornado 302 will be launching in the coming months. According to Sirish Kulkarni, Chairman of DSK Benelli group, the launch of the faired bike has been delayed as they want to bring in the ABS-equipped Tornado 302 here in accordance with the forthcoming government regulations making it mandatory for all higher capacity bikes to have ABS. Benelli are currently in the process of stockpiling bikes and the new versions should hit our shores by the last week of November.
