Hyundai to Ramp-up Creta Production
The production capacity of the Hyundai Creta is all set to increase again. The company had previously enhanced its output to meet the required demand. This time, the South Korean carmaker will enhance its output by 20 per cent, taking the capacity to 12,000 units.
The Creta completed a lakh bookings from the Indian customers around a month back and won the ‘Indian Car of the Year’ award for Hyundai. It is the only SUV to feature in the top 10 of the bestselling models in the country. Hyundai also plans to export the car to more than ninety countries.
It is offered with three engine options, viz. a 1.6-litre petrol, a 1.4-litre and a 1.6-litre diesel, with the 1.6-litre diesel being the most powerful, with power figures of 128PS/260Nm.
