Datsun redi-Go Sport limited edition model will be launch on this month

Datsun India is planning to give a push to its newly launched hatch redi-Go with a new limited edition called - redi-GO Sport limited edition model which they are planning to introduce on 29 September. The Olympic medalist Sakshi Malik will be present at the unveiling ceremony of the car.

According to the teaser image of the Datsun redi-GO Sport limited edition, the hatchback will get cosmetic tweaks like the black decals on the bonnet and doors; as well as the blacked out wheel covers. The interesting bit is the body paint colour effect on the grille and wheel cover that adds a contrasting touch to the styling.

In terms of power, the limited edition Datsun redi-GO Sport will continue with the 799cc three-cylinder petrol engine that will churn out 53bhp and 72Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. In terms of other features, Datsun's entry-level model gets DRLs, a 2-DIN audio system with AUX and USB connectivity, while you get the driver side airbag as standard on the redi-GO range.

The Datsun redi-GO has already able to win the heart of the car lovers and the manufacturer has already able to sell 2925 units in June, 3940 units in July and 3205 units in August this year. With the Sport limited edition, the automaker is aiming to sell more units as they are planning to introduce this model just ahead of the festive season.
