Royal Enfield launches ‘Hunter 350’ in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Mid-size motorcycle brand Royal Enfield has launched its latest offering the Hunter 350, here on Wednesday.

The motorcycle brand which is the market leader in the mid-size segment in India brings out a “remixed roadster” with the Royal Enfield essence, designed for the urban hustle. The smaller-built Hunter 350 is 14 kilos lighter than the Classic 350, which lends its J-series engine to the latest launch, making it a good fit for city streets and traffic.

Aimed at young riders, the Hunter is available at a starting price of Rs. 1,49,900 (ex-showroom Telangana) and it comes in multiple colour options. The motorcycle is available for test rides and bookings at the 75 Royal Enfield outlets in Telangana and the deliveries of the bike are already underway.

The company says that it has enough units manufactured to make sure the deliveries happen at the earliest, without having to make the customers wait.

Launching the Hunter 350 in Hyderabad, Mr. V Jayapradeep, Head of Business Markets, India + SAARC, said that Telangana continues to be one of the key growth markets for Royal Enfield with a significant customer base in the roadster segment.

On expansion plans, Mr. Jayapradeep says that teams at Royal Enfield are constantly working on customer feedback and testing more models. “We enjoy a 6 percent market share in the Indian two-wheeler market, with Hunter we want to increase it by reaching to those customers who have been planning to purchase Royal Enfield bikes but backing out due to factors like weight and price,” he added.
