New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India said on Tuesday that it has received 20,000 bookings within the first fortnight of the launch of compact SUV Vitara Brezza and will start delivering the new model to customers from Friday. It is the first sub-4 metre SUV from Maruti. The vehicles will be retailed from the company’s over 1,800 sales outlets spread across India.
“We are delighted at customers’ response to Vitara Brezza. They have appreciated it for its sporty and muscular design and the combination of features offered at multiple trim levels. Our endeavour now is to deliver these cars quickly so that customers can enjoy their Vitara Brezza,” said Mr R.S. Kalsi, executive director (marketing and sales), Maruti Suzuki India.
Unveiled at Auto Expo 2016, Vitara Brezza was formally launched on March 8, 2016. It is available in seven variants including a fully loaded, top-end variant with dual tone colour scheme. “Within the first fortnight of its launch, the Vitara Brezza has received around 70,000 customer enquiries and 20,000 bookings,” said Maruti Suzuki.
Vitara Brezza has been conceptualised, designed and developed in India using Suzuki’s global platform and engine.
