Hyundai inaugurates four dealerships in a single day
Hyundai Motor India has expanded its dealership network in Hyderabad, Telangana, where it enjoys a market share of 17.6 per cent. The Indian arm of the Korean carmaker On April 22 inaugurated four new showrooms in the Bowenpally, LakdiKaPul, Jubilee Hills and Secunderabad areas.
According to the carmaker, the new dealerships are based on GDSI (Global Dealership Space Identity) and will offer a premium experience to customers. Also, the dealerships include south India’s first digital automotive experience outlet at Saboo Hyundai in Secunderabad. All these dealerships have space in excess of 35,000 sq. ft., while the digital outlet has an area of 4300 sq. ft.
Welcoming the new dealerships into the Hyundai family, Y. K. Koo, MD & CEO, HMIL, said, “Hyderabad is a key market for Hyundai in South India and has great economic potential. The addition of dealerships in the state reflects the commitment of Hyundai to offer modern and aspirational products to the consumers in this region. The new dealerships will be our ambassadors of Hyundai in the region and provide prompt and efficient service to customers.”
With the addition of these new dealerships, Hyundai Motor India – India’s second largest carmaker – now has a sales and service network comprising 448 operational dealers. On the other hand, the country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has almost four times the said number of dealerships.
