Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL) has introduced a special edition of the Gusto 110 scooter. The launch of the special edition variant of the 110cc scooter is an attempt at cashing in the upcoming festive season. The special edition scooter will come in two unique shades -- Pacific Matt Blue and Crimson Matt Red. Mahindra dealerships will soon commence bookings for the scooter. The Gusto 110 special edition is costlier by Rs 2,000 than the standard VX variant and will cost you Rs 52,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Speaking about the new product, Naveen Malhotra, Sr. General Manager – Sales, Marketing & Product Planning, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. said, “Mahindra Gusto with its innovative Height Adjustable Seat and slew of other innovations and superior performance has received a great response both online and offline. We are at the forefront of embracing e-commerce by making our products available to customers at their convenience.”
Apart from the new colour option, no visual changes have been made on the new scooter. Mechanically also the scooter has been left untouched and the Gusto 110 special edition features the same indigenously developed powerplant christened M-Tec. The single-cylinder engine churns out 8PS of peak power and 8.5Nm of maximum torque. Power is transmitted to the rear-wheel via a CVT transmission. Mahindra claims that the Gusto will run 63km to a litre of petrol, which makes it among the most fuel efficient scooters in our market.
