The Jeep Compass is one of the most popular premium mid-size SUVs in India. It is available with both petrol and diesel engines and a new top-spec Compass Trailhawk with a diesel-automatic powertrain was introduced recently.
Jeep is currently offering the Compass with a finance benefit of EMIs starting from as low as Rs 30,000 at a 7.69 per cent interest rate. This offer is valid pan-India till 31 August 2019. Other cash benefits, additional offers may be offered by individual Jeep dealerships too.
It is currently priced between Rs 15.6 lakh and Rs 23.11 lakh while the Compass Trailhawk is priced at Rs 26.80 lakh and Rs 27.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes against the likes of the MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Tucson, Mahindra XUV500 and Tata Hexa too.
The Compass is currently facing stiff competition from the Tata Harrier and MG Hector in particular. Their aggressive pricing as compared to the relatively premium Jeep has allowed the newcomers to take top spots in terms of monthly sales even during this industry downturn.
