Nissan has rearranged its India line-ups
Nissan has made some striking changes to its India line-up models. The company has truncated many variants from its model line-up and as a result, some of its models now significantly down to half the number of variants previously on offer.
An astonishing change has happened with its Micra line-up. All petrol variants will now have only CVT gearbox. Both petrol and diesel get two trim levels XL, XL (O) for diesel and – XL CVT, XV CVT for petrol. Nissan has dropped the base XE and top XVP diesel trims. The XVP trim was the only trim in the Micra which offered four airbags to its customers.
With Active, Nissan planned to discontinue its base model i.e. XE trim. While other three trims (XL, XV and XV S) will remain unaltered. The Active models will possess a petrol motor which is paired with a manual gearbox.
Nissan has made some minor or trivia alteration with its Sunny line-up. Now onwards, the CVT option will available on the top petrol VX trim in place of the mid-level XL. Moreover, the company also discarded the XV D Premium trim with leather seats.
Nissan has completely revised or made some astonishing changes with its Terrano line-up. The company has already discontinued some models like 85hp diesel XL, 110hp diesel XL and 110hp diesel XV trims. Now, the Terrano will available only one petrol variant (XL), two 85hp diesel variants (XE and XL Plus) and one 110hp diesel trim (XV Premium).
