Yamaha India’s has launched the Street Rally edition of the Cygnus Ray ZR. The special edition variant was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo and is available in two colours - Rally Red and Racing Blue. It receives a new fairing design inspired by the MT-09, which Yamaha likes to call the ‘Wing Style Fairing’. Its handlebar grips come with deflectors and the updated pillion grab rail features a ‘Rising Air Tail’ design. Sporty changes have been dealt to the front fenders and rearview mirrors, and the scooter now gets an all-digital instrument cluster as well.

Priced at Rs 57,898, the Cygnus Ray ZR Street Rally edition competes with Honda Dio DLX (Rs 53,837), TVS Wego disc brake variant (Rs 53,433) and Hero Maestro Edge (Rs 49,900) (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The Street Rally edition will be available at all authorized Yamaha dealerships from the last week of this month.
