Upcoming KTM 790 Duke spotted testing in Europe
KTM showcased the 790 Duke prototype at the EICMA Motor show in Milan last year. However, the upcoming motorcycle has been spotted testing in Europe now. In compliance with KTM's new design language, the motorcycle gets a sharper-looking front design with new dual-split headlamps. The rear has been redesigned as well. The rear section gets under-seat right-aligned exhaust muffler and looks slightly curvy compared to the rest of the motorcycle.
The KTM 790 Duke is powered by the parallel twin engine and gets dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake unit at the rear. Suspension work is handled by beefy USD telescopic forks at the front and a single monoshock unit at the rear.
It is expected that KTM will be showing off the bike at the EICMA Motor Show 2017. It will come loaded with features like all the KTM bikes in the pipeline and will be a good value for money bike. The power output figures have not surfaced yet but the bike will face competition from the Kawasaki Z800 and Triumph Speed Triple.
