Mercedes-Benz launches special edition A-Class, GLA and CLA
In support of the German football team for the ongoing 2016 UEFA Euro Championship in France, Mercedes-Benz has launched special variants of its popular A-Class, GLA and CLA models. Only a limited number of these special edition models will be sold until July 10, 2016.
The A-Class small cars have been priced starting from Rs 25.95 lakh for the sports edition of the A180, going up to Rs 26.95 lakh for the A200d. As for the CLA-Class sedans, the new CLA 200 will cost you Rs 33.4 lakh and the CLA 200d Rs 34.25 lakh.
In the SUV space the GLA 200 limited edition will set you back by Rs 34.23 lakh and the GLA 200d will burn a hole worth Rs 35.26 lakh in your pocket.
“The new Sport Edition of the A-Class, CLA and GLA celebrates the spirit of the UEFA EURO 2016 in India. This is a celebration of our new generation cars which epitomises sportiness, dynamism and agility not only on but also off the field,” said Mercedes-Benz India managing director and CEO, Roland Folger in a statement.

The brand with the three-pointed star has enjoyed a rather protracted spell of success of late in the country, launching as many as 15 cars in 2015. It had also announced at the 2016 Delhi Auto that it will roll out at least a dozen cars in India this year too.
The German carmaker though has also been among the worst hit by the blanket ban on diesel cars in various parts of the country. The carmaker is reportedly even reconsidering its investments in India.
