Christined the Ameo Corporate Edition, it is priced at Rs 6.69 lakh for the petrol version and Rs 7.99 lakh (both, ex-showroom India) for the diesel option. This new edition is for corporates listed under VW's internal data as well as business owners.
The new Corporate Edition has the same feature list as the top-spec Highline Plus variant, albeit with just the manual gearbox. It gets rain sensing wipers, rear AC vents, cruise control, reverse parking camera as well as a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. This variant also gets power-folding ORVMs, 16-inch alloys, auto-dimming IRVM and leather-wrapped steering wheel as well.
For the average customer, the Highline Plus variant of the Ameo is priced at Rs 7.85 lakh for the 1.0-litre petrol-MT and Rs 9.10 lakh for the 1.5-litre diesel-MT. This Corporate Edition of the Ameo offers savings of upto Rs 1.16 lakh and Rs 1.11 lakh, respectively. However, these benefits can only be availed by corporate or business customers as mentioned above.
The 1.0-litre petrol engine has an output of 76PS and 95Nm while the 1.5-litre diesel unit churns out 110PS and 250Nm. Both engines are available with the 5-speed manual gearbox as standard while the diesel can also be had with a 7-speed DSG in certain variants. However, the diesel-AT option is not available on the Corporate Edition of the Ameo.
