Mahindra XUV300 launch tomorrow
- Will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options.

Mahindra is all set to launch the much-awaited XUV300 in India on 14 February 2019. We have already driven the sub-4m SUV and you can read our review here. Here’s a quick recap of what we know about the SUV so far.
At 3995mm x 1821mm x 1627m (LXWXH), the Mahindra XUV300 is the widest SUV in its class. Also, its 2600mm wheelbase is the longest in the segment.

Unlike some of its rivals, the XUV300 will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. While the petrol SUV will get a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine that produces 110PS of power and 200Nm of torque, the diesel SUV, on the other hand, gets a 115PS/300Nm 1.5-litre motor. At launch, Mahindra will offer the XUV300 with a 6-speed manual transmission only.
As far as features are concerned, the XUV300 will be equipped with various segment-first features including 7 airbags, front parking sensors, rear disc brakes, tyre direction monitor and a dual-zone AC. Standard safety features on offer include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Other important features include ESP, HLA, tyre pressure monitoring system, auto projector headlamps with LED DRLs, electric sunroof, rear parking camera with sensors, rain-sensing wipers and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The XUV300 will rival the likes of the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and the Honda WR-V. Mahindra is expected to price the XUV300 from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
