As per reports, the updated S-Cross is likely to receive the 1.4-litre BoosterJet petrol engine that produces 140PS of power, though it remains to be seen if this engine will make its way to India. Rumours suggest that Maruti may introduce a new 1.5-litre petrol for the S-Cross, but there hasn't been an official confirmation for the same. However the S-Cross will make its debut in the Indian market by 2017.
