Hyderabad E-Motor Week comes to an end

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad E-Motor Week ended on a high on Friday with a session by the Cyber Security Council of India, two electric vehicles' showcased on stage and a flashmob by the popular group Atrangi.

The first such week-long show in the country was inaugurated by minister K.T. Rama Rao. Throughout the week, commercial electric vehicles, energy storage companies, charging infrastructure and EV components manufacturers, and start-ups across these segments displayed their products spread over an area of 10,500 square metres.

With an aim to attract Rs 50,000 crore investments and generate four lakh jobs in the next five years, the event also announced the country's first new mobility-focused cluster, Telangana Mobility Valley (TMV).

Leading automobile brands including Apollo, Mahindra, Amara Raja, Citroen, TVS, ETO Motors, Ola, MG Motor, Switch Mobility, Piaggio, BYD, Hyundai, and ZF among others are participating in the Hyderabad E-Motor Show. The motor show also had the exclusive launch of electric vehicles featuring celebrities, industry leaders, policymakers, and other dignitaries engaged in the event.
Beginning with the RALL-E and ending with the display of several e-vehicles including the Formula E racing cars, the event turned out to be a huge success as the show set the tone for sustainable mobility in the country and was a significant experience for EV lovers in the city.

The event also saw the unveiling of the world’s fastest accelerating car: the pure-electric hyper GT ‘Battista’ for the first time in India. To accelerate innovation in areas of Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric (C.A.S.E.) mobility in India, young entrepreneurs got a chance to present their innovative business ideas to the jury at the C.A.S.E.
