Two ‘Indian motorcycles’ make their way to India
The FTR 1200 S is the brand’s first streetfighter motorcycle and makes the Indian Motorcycle brand accessible to a wider audience.
Indian Motorcycle, America’s luxury bike maker, has launched its FTR 1200 S and FTR 1200 S Race Replica motorcycles priced at Rs 15.99 lakh and Rs 17.99 lakh respectively.
The FTR 1200 S is the brand’s first streetfighter motorcycle and makes the Indian Motorcycle brand accessible to a wider audience.
Both motorcycles are powered by a 1,203cc V-twin engine that produces 120hp at 8,250rpm, and 115Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.
Indian Motorcycle has also tied up with Orix India for leasing luxury bikes to bike enthusiasts in the country.
“We continually seek to broaden Indian Motorcycle’s reach to a wider range of riders, and FTR represents a significant step forward in that strategy,” Pankaj Dubey, managing director at Polaris India, said.
