Maruti S-Cross facelift launch by late 2017
Media reports have been doing the rounds that the launch of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift will be launched by late 2017. The S-Cross made its global debut earlier during the year before being showcased at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
The S-Cross too gets a taller and bolder disposition as does the Vitara Brezza. The styling of the front fascia is in vogue, as most of the crossovers, compact SUVs and hatchbacks have been styled of late in the same fashion.
The bumper on the S-Cross looks very aggressively styled with the chrome and the black cladding around the fog lamps. The front grille is also prominent with vertical slats, while the headlights go projector with the S-Cross.
Maruti hasn’t added much to its side profile, while making the black cladding on the sides thicker, compared to its previous model, which is currently selling in India. The rear gets new taillights and a redesigned bumper.Interiors of the facelifted model get a new instrument cluster and new seat upholstery with contrast stitching.
For the Indian market, Maruti will most likely continue to offer the S-Cross with the 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines. There are also rumours about a petrol engine making its way to the S-Cross, though nothing has been officially confirmed as of now.
