Hyundai reveals price for Creta anniversary edition
The Creta turned out to be a blockbuster for Hyundai. It's just been a year since its launch and the car has proved its worth on city streets as well as on off roads. To mark a successful year of its completion, Hyundai is introducing an Anniversary Edition of the SUV. The special Creta will be priced at Rs 14.27 lakh for the petrol and Rs. 16.42 lakh for the diesel variant (on-road price, Delhi). The new SUV comes with a dual tone colour scheme, a black roof and some other cosmetic upgrades. The special variant is only available in manual transmission.
This 'Anniversary Edition' is built over the standard SX+ variant, with an additional cost of about Rs 45,000. With this extra money, you get a white Creta with a gloss black contrast roof. The car also gets a ‘1 Anniversary Edition’ badge on the C-pillars in the form of dual-colour decal strips. The bold chrome bar which was earlier placed on the tailgate, on top of the licence plate, has made way for a more subtle body-coloured bar.
Inside too, the car features cosmetic upgrades. The beige-black interiors now make way for a refreshed red-and-black theme. The dashboard features red outlines over the AC vents, while everything else remains black. The seats too now feature dual-tone red-black upholstery, lending a sense of sportiness to the cabin.
Overall, this edition of the car stands out as a more sporty avatar of the everyday SUV. And for an extra Rs 45,000, you get to be one of the few who would ever drive this model. If you are in the market looking for a Creta, book your 'Anniversary Edition' now.
