Maruti concludes over 3 lakh AMT sales: Celerio, Dzire and Ignis most popular
Maruti Suzuki introduced the AGS (auto gear shift) with the Celerio in 2014. Four year later, it has seven different cars with the AMT gearbox as an option, including the WagonR, Alto K10, Celerio, Swift, Ignis, Dzire and the Brezza. And within the four years, it has also managed to sell 3 lakh cars equipped with the transmission. The AMT is available on both the diesel and petrol motors of the Swift, Ignis and the Dzire, but only on the 1.3-litre diesel engine-equipped variant of the Brezza.
