Mahindra Marazzo: Launch today
Mahindra's new MPV will only be offered with a diesel engine in the initial phase; will get a choice of seven or eight seats.
Mahindra is all set to launch its latest people mover, the Marazzo, today. It is Mahindra’s answer to the upcoming second-generation Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the long-running sales champion, the Toyota Innova Crysta. Mahindra, however, is likely to price the Marazzo somewhere between the Toyota and the to-be-launched Ertiga. We have already assessed the expected pricing of the MPV, check it out here.
Mahindra Marazzo: Prime Highlights
- Design: The Mahindra Marazzo is designed like a typical MPV. It was recently spotted at a dealer stockyard and it doesn’t seem as radical as its official sketches. Having said that, it is certainly at par with MPVs like the Innova Crysta and the upcoming Ertiga when it comes to aesthetics. More on this here
- Features: It offers features such as projector headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, leatherette seat covers, roof-integrated surround cooling system and an instrument cluster with a large colour MID (multi-info display). Also on offer is a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, engine push-button start-stop and second-row window blinds, among others. The MPV will be offered with a choice of seven or eight seats, depending on your needs
- Engine: The Mahindra Marazzo can only be had with a diesel engine initially. A petrol engine, which is still under development, could be introduced at a later stage
