Watch: Akshay Kumar brings to light true stories behind Airlift'
Mumbai: Akshay Kumar and his co-star Nimrat Kaur have tried to bring to light the true story behind the 1990 evacuation of Indians during the Kuwait war, in their film ‘Airlift’.
With the film just a few days away from its Bollywood release, the stars and their team have come together to release a set of videos that give out the real stories of people who were part of this rescue operation.

In the film directed by Raja Krishna Menon, Akshay will be seen playing Kuwait-based businessman, who was stuck along with more than a lakh of Indians staying in Kuwait at that time. The story of the film is from Akshay’s character's point of view, and how he helped the Indians get evacuated from Kuwait.
The set of videos will give out true stories of survivors and their horrifying accounts during the Iraq invasion.
