Amitabh Bachchan takes some time off to play football with kids in Kolkata

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan took some time off to play some football with the kids at the Mohammedan Sporting ground.

The actor spent the entire day in the club premises and shot some scenes of his upcoming film 'TE3N'. Recently, Amitabh injured his rib while shooting few sequences, however, that didn't deter him on scoring few points.

Amitabh posted a small note on his blog which read, "And earlier in the day … my weak efforts at football during the shooting .. nostalgic in a way .. for these were the football grounds of the major clubs when I visited Calcutta on a private visit with my parents in 1960 .. that we came to watch football games .. Mohan Bagan, Mohammedan Sporting, East Bengal et al .."

The club felicitated Bachchan and made him it honorary life membership of the club. The team also invited the legendary actor to be the chief guest of the club’s 125th Anniversary gala to be held later in the year.
