Watch: Birthday boy Hrithik Roshan's first appearance on silver screen

Actor debuted in Bollywood with 'Aas Pass'.

Mumbai: At the mention of Hrithik Roshan's name, the first image that usually comes in our head is the iconic ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’ dance step from the 2000 blockbuster ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’. But this is not where it all started. A lesser-known fact is that the actor’s first dancing stint on the silver screen was in ‘Aas Paas’ released in 1981, directed by his maternal grand father J Om Prakash. Later, he acted opposite Rajnikant and Sridevi as a child artist in ‘Bhagwaan Dada’, released in 1986.

On his 41st birthday today, this one is a treat for all the Hrithik fans, where you can see him in a Punjabi number featuring Dharmendra and Hema Malini. Little Hrithik can be seen doing a bhangra in a pink kurta-pajama and winking mischievously at Hema Malini.
