Aruna Rules Out Entry for Kavitha into BJP
Kavitha said the BJP had entertained leaders from other parties and even termed the party as washing machine, Aruna said the washing machine will not clean all kinds of dirt

Hyderabad: BJP vice-president and Mahbubnagar MP D.K. Aruna ruled out the entry into the party of BRS leader K. Kavitha, in response to questions at a media conference here on Saturday.“The BJP will never think of taking such leaders into the party,” she said.
Aruna was asked why Kavitha, if she chose to defect, would not be admitted into the BJP, given that the party was referred to a as a ‘washing machine’ for admitting leaders facing corruption charges in other states. Aruna replied: “Washing machines do not clean all stains.”
Talking to newsmen, Aruna charged that BRS and Congress leaders had plundered the state. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had promised voters that he would make BRS chief K.Chandrasekhar Rao return the money he gained by corruption, with interest. He had promised a CBI inquiry into the Kaleshwaram project, but was silent on the matter now, Aruna said.
“The Congress and the BRS have been protecting each other in Kaleshwaram corruption. If it is not a fact, why is Revanth Reddy maintaining a silence on this issue,” Aruna asked.
On the National Herald Case, in which the Enforcement Directorate reportedly mentioned the name of Revanth Reddy, when he was state Congress chief, the BJP senior leader said that people “were aware of Revanth Reddy’s talent” and he must disclose the details on collections done by him and “how much he had carried to Delhi.”
“Revanth is an expert in making settlements. When D.K. Shivakumar's name came in the National Herald case, he gave clarification. Why is not Revanth Reddy giving such a clarification,” she asked.
Aruna said that the state’s interests were not a priority for either the BRS or the Congress. “Both parties have a single agenda of looting public money. The BRS plundered the state in the name of a project for 10 years. Now, Revanth Reddy came to power with false promises and carried out the same agenda. The Congress government has failed to fulfil its promises made to people. Revanth Reddy had no moral responsibility to stay in the chair for a single minute,” Aruna said.
