Vijayawada: The Special Investigation Team (SIT), probing the alleged liquor scam that took place during the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) regime in Andhra Pradesh, has issued a notice to former minister K. Narayana Swamy. He has been directed to appear before the SIT on July 21.
So far, the SIT has named 40 individuals as accused in the case, and 11 people have been arrested in connection with the alleged scam.
