Video: Chinese man run over by high-speed train while trying to cross tracks

Nanjing: A Chinese man was run over by a high speed train while trying to cross tracks at China's Nanjing South railway station. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.

According to a Daily Mail report,  the 30-year-old man attempted to cross the railway track to get to another platform.

In the video, the high-speed bullet train approached and the man’s midriff was crushed between the train and the platform.

It is believed that he on the wrong platform and made this attempt while trying to get to the right one, but was not able to lift himself onto the platform quickly.

He was seen struggling to free himself and was conscious till the authorities arrived. However, during the rescue operation, he lost consciousness and died. His body was removed after firemen broke part of the concrete platform and managed to pull his body out.
