Funeral of assassinated cleric held

Islamabad: The funeral prayers of slain religious scholar, known as the father of Taliban, Maulana Samiul Haq were offered in Akora Khattak on Saturday. Foolproof security arrangements were made to avoid any untoward incidents. Additional contingents of security forces were summoned.

Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Khurshid Shah, Asfandyar Wali and others attended the funeral.  prayers.
