Australian dad locks minor kids in dirty cages, tortures and rapes 5-yr-old daughter

Adelaide: An Australian father has been arrested on the charges of sexually assaulting his five-year-old daughter twice and torturing his four-year-old son for about two years at their home in Adelaide, a city in South Australia.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, the accused has been found guilty of locking up his minor children in dirty cages as punishment.
While the case was undergoing trial in Adelaide District Court, prosecutors told the judge that the minor children were tied to trees outside their home for hours. Their fingers were even slammed in car doors, leaving them in excruciating pain.
While the children were tied to the trees, they were beaten up with a whip and bed slats, the court heard.
It took three days for the jury to go through all the allegations against the accused including the years of physical torment caused to the kids by their father and stepmother.
The court also heard that the accused raped his daughter twice at his home and then smashed her head against the wall while she bled profusely. He then gagged her with her younger brother and photographed the children in that position.
The accused has been found guilty of six counts of false imprisonment , four counts of physical assault and two counts of rape.
However, he has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him and is due to appear in court in September for next hearing. The kids' stepmother too is due in court after being found guilty of one count of false imprisonment.
