Bangkok: Thailand police have arrested five men, including a British national, following a raid on a five-storey building where a gang was allegedly running a drugs and fake passport racket. They also found a woman’s dismembered body in a freezer.

According to a report in Mirror, a gunfight broke out between the cops and the men prior to the arrest, injuring a police officer who was later reported to be in stable condition.

Of the four other men arrested with the 63-year-old Britisher, two were Americans and two Burmese nationals. Police also seized a passport-making machine and several pistols from their hideout.

The dead body, chopped up in five pieces, was wrapped in a plastic bag and stuffed in a fridge at the basement of the building. Police are still trying to establish the dead woman’s identity and further investigation is underway.
