Pak a victim of terror, says Sharif at UN, Twitterati just can't stop trolling him

He also said that Burhan Wani was a young leader and not a terrorist.

United Nations: During his address at the 71st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that his country itself is a victim of terrorism. He also said that Burhan Wani was a young leader and not a terrorist.

"My country has been the principal victim of terrorism including that supported, sponsored, financed from abroad” and “Burhan Wani, the young leader murdered by Indian forces has emerged as a symbol of latest Kashmiri ‘Intifada," Sharif was quoted as saying.

Sharif devoted much of his 20-minute speech at the UN General Assembly session to Kashmir and the current situation in the Valley and said Pakistan "fully supports the demand of Kashmiri people for self-determination".

However, Twitterati could not digest his words and took to the micro-blogging platform to express their thoughts:
