Watch: Knife-wielding 'drunk' monkey wreaks havoc in Brazilian bar

Patos, Brazil: In a bizarre incident, a capuchin monkey entered a bar in the Brazilian region of Patos and headed to one of the tables to taste some of the leftover rum, reported aRede news website.

After guzzling on the drink, the animal then moved around the place and got hold of a kitchen knife.

With the deadly weapon in his hand, he began chasing and terrorising the people in the bar.

A video footage captured by an on-looker shows the monkey handling the knife, climbing on the roof of the bar and stabbing randomly at the roof's shingles.

Firefighters were soon rushed to the spot who then captured the ape and released it back into the forest.

However, the animal again caught attention when the locals complained that he behaved aggressively towards them. Authorities are considering to keep the monkey in custody so that it does not attack anyone.
