US: Mother injects minor children with heroin, calls it 'sleeping juice'
One of the victims told officials that his mother would often 'mix white powder with water' and inject him and his siblings with it.
Washington: US police have arrested a woman and her boyfriend after the couple injected the woman's minor children with heroin, telling them that it is 'sleeping juice'.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, the woman identified as Ashlee Hutt injected her three children with drugs at their family home in Spanaway, Washington. Her boyfriend Leeroy 'Mac' McIver is also accused of giving drugs to the children.
The children were rescued from the couple after Child Protection Service (CPS) launched an investigation last year. Since then the children have been placed into foster care.
While they were being interviewed by the police, the eldest child told them how his mother would often 'mix white powder with water' and inject him and his siblings with it.
The boy also told them that on one occasion he was choked by Mclver first and later injected.
He told the officials that after being injected with the solution, they would fall asleep and that their mother would often tell them that it is 'sleeping juice'.
The couple has been arrested and charged with second-degree child assault.
