Sania, Martina eye Australian Open glory

The Indo-Swiss duo will be looking to earn their eighth title on the trot.

Melbourne: The pair of Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis, who are on an incredible winning streak, will be eyeing their maiden Australian Open title, as they take on 7th seeded Czech duo of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka in the finals on Friday.

Sania and Hingis entered the finals after a record 35th successive match win and will be looking to earn their eighth title on the trot.

The pair already has two grand slam titles- Wimbledon and US Open- to its name.

Besides the women's doubles, Sania will also be seen in the semifinal action of mixed doubles on Friday as she is partnered with Croatian Ivan Dodig in the event and will be meeting Russian-Brazilian pair of Elena Vesnina and Bruno Soares.
