Samsung has unveiled a promotional image that suggests an updated camera setup, along with a light-green colour option.

Tech giant Samsung will hold its Galaxy Event August 2026 on August 27, where the company is expected to introduce a new smartphone in the Galaxy S26 series.

“On August 27th, Samsung Electronics will hold ‘Galaxy Event August 2026’ to introduce the newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family — purposefully designed to bring the core Galaxy S26 experiences, from camera to AI, along with the latest One UI, to those who look for what truly matters most to them,” Samsung said.

According to reports, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S26 FE at the Galaxy Event. The smartphone will feature an updated design to match the S26 series. However, its specifications are expected to remain largely similar to those of its predecessor.

According to a report by WinFuture, the Galaxy S26 FE will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 × 1082 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 processor and is expected to pack a 4,900mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging.

The Galaxy S26 FE will reportedly sport a triple-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera. It will also feature a 12MP selfie camera.

The upcoming Galaxy S26 FE will reportedly come with 8GB of RAM and two storage options: 128GB and 256GB. Rumours suggest that the smartphone could launch at a higher price than its predecessor.

Samsung said that the Galaxy event will be streamed live on Samsung.com and Samsung’s YouTube channel at 9 p.m. KST (5:30 PM IST).
