Samsung on Thursday launched the Galaxy S26 FE, a new addition to the Galaxy S26 series and the first device in the lineup to come with One UI 9.
Samsung said the new Galaxy S26 FE features enhanced camera capabilities and “more context-aware Galaxy AI.”
“Packed with beloved Galaxy camera and AI experiences, backed by the latest One UI 9, Galaxy S26 FE comes to life as an ideal choice for those who know exactly what matters most to them,” said Jay Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Office, Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics.
The new Galaxy S26 FE sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. It also comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Samsung smartphone is powered by the 3nm Exynos 2500 processor and packs a 4,900mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
The Galaxy S26 FE features a triple rear-camera setup comprising a 12MP ultra-wide camera, 50MP wide camera and 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It also comes with a 12MP front camera for selfies.
The smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and is available in three storage options: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. It runs Android 17 out of the box.
The Galaxy S26 FE will be available in three colour options: Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio. Samsung said the smartphone will go on sale from September 4 in select markets.
Samsung has not yet revealed the India price of the Galaxy S26 FE. In the US, the smartphone starts at $699.99, which is $50 more than its predecessor.
