The Apple iPhone 11 is just around the corner and leaks of the device are seeping in at a steady pace. After rumours about a triple rear camera setup on the iPhone 11 and 11 Max, the latest bit of information will appease not just potential buyers, but their significant others as well. As per a report by Macotakara, Apple’s upcoming iPhone 11 could let users send music to two Bluetooth devices at the same time.

The report states that Apple could be adding dual Bluetooth audio support in the next iPhone which could enable two people to listen to music from the same phone by connecting two sets of Apple AirPods simultaneously. As of now, the iPhone just supports connecting to one audio profile device at a time. With current iPhones, you can pair multiple headphones, but the sound can come out of just one device.

The current generation iPhones currently supports multiple connections of various devices at the same time. Meaning, it is possible to be synced to headphones and an Apple Watch at the same time.

9to5Mac statesDual Bluetooth Audio has already made its way on to some Android devices and coming to Apple’s iPhone is long overdue. Macotakara opines that the iPhone can be connected to a car and wireless earphones at the exact time which allows you to receive speech utterances through the car speakers and also music through the AirPods.

As of now, Dual Bluetooth Audio is still a work in progress as devices with this feature are known to provide some syncing issues. However, what may be great is that a friend and you could listen to the same music by pairing two sets of AirPods.
