LG launches Stylus 2 Plus phablet: Features, specifications, price

The LG has launched an upgraded version of the Stylus 2 phablet, the Stylus 2 plus, in Taiwan and has announced it to go on sale by early next month.

The Stylus 2 features a 5.7-inch full HD display screen and is built using a Snapdragon 430 chipset featuring an octa-Core 1.2GHz Cortex A53 CPU, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phablet is fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 operating system. The rear camera sports a 16MP sensor with an auto-focus and the front camera has an 8MP sensor for selfies. The phablet comes in a plastic body with an aluminium frame measures 155 x 79.6 x 7.4 mm and weighs146g. The Stylus 2 Plus supports a 4G LTE and has dual-SIM slots.

The Stylus 2 Plus phablet features Pen Pop and Pen Keep Stylus functions. The Pen Pop function provides shortcuts to other functions like Pop Menu and Pop Scanner. The Pen Keep function displays a message on the phone when the device is in motion and when the stylus slot is empty preventing user from losing the stylus. The device is available in three colours: brown, blue and grey. It retails at a price of $340 (approx. Rs 23,000).

We are still unsure if LG will release the Stylus 2 Plus phablet in India.
